Documentary Filming during entire pilgrimage

The Institute for Cultural Awareness (ICA) non-profit organization strives to provide a safe and healthy environment for cultural exchange and healing. As part of our vision our goal is to preserve Indigenous wisdom, ceremonies and rituals. Our organization will be filming throughout the entire pilgrimage with a possibility of a commercial product for cultural awareness. Your image may be viewed in the final product, internet promotional trailers and/or other forms of media. In signing the completed registration form you agree to give ICA permission to be filmed. ICA staff will be the only individuals allowed to video tape the entire pilgrimage.

Cancellation Policy

There are no cancellation refunds for any reason due to the proximity of the departure dates. Travel insurance upon complete registration including medical coverage, personal baggage and lost money is highly recommended. ICA suggests Monika at Avenues of the World Travel in Flagstaff, AZ 928-556-0853 or 800-230-3322 or monika@avenuesoftheworld.com for all your travel insurance and International airfare needs.

Required Travel Documents All passengers are required to travel with a valid passport. A visa to enter the country of Peru and Bolivia may be required. Each person is responsible to have valid travel documents. ICA is not responsible for trip cancellation or refusal of entry into a country due to lack of proper documentation.

Baggage

Currently there are different regulations and charges being proposed from various airlines due to increase fuel cost and security purposes. It is the individual's responsibility to determine those requirements and/or cost for their International flights. For domestic flights within Peru, passengers are allowed one check-in baggage ~30lbs. and one small carry-on bag. ICA highly recommends one suitcase with rollers for check-in and one backpack for carry-on. Upon our arrival in Lima, we will depart for Iquitos, Peru on 9-6-08. We will be required to leave our check-in luggage in Lima and only travel to Iquitos with our backpack. Please be prepared to reorganize your luggage for our short trip into the Amazon Jungle. Similar situation will be required for our trip to Machu Picchu. Also, it would be wise to bring an additional duffle bag in our check-in luggage for any shopping during our pilgrimage. Sometimes shipping gifts back home is a wiser option than carrying the additional baggage. Key to successful packing is to be flexible, pack light and wise.
